Some excellent introductions to Quantum Theory and General Relativity by Reiss and Harrison this week and new faces in the form of some wonderfully talented Y9 students.
Remember we covered the model of the atom and how we like it but we’ll need to refine it a little later in the year.
We spoke about how electrons act like waves and particles depending on the situation and we even touch on Shrodinger’s famous cat- debunking some commonly held misconceptions about his famous thought experiment.
Remember- for next week I’d like you to do some research into Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle.
